Feature Sessions: Cassie Daves

Friday, July 22, 2016

Hi everyone,  Hope you've been having a great week so far?
Mine has been mad stressful, but I'm glad I finally got around to putting this post together,
by the way I'm writing this at 2:55 in the morning.

We have another edition of Feature Sessions and in this edition
we have someone who I personally have longed to work with;
Cassie of cassiedaves.com
It was a pretty good day for photos the sun was out and things were looking good.
We met up and I feel like we developed a pretty good rapport.
She was skeptical about taking pictures around the last background
because of some guys play soccer, and refused to acknowledge
my mad soccer skills when the ball came to my direction and I returned it immediately.

Introduce yourself.
Don't you already know me, please next question *laughs*
Hi I'm Cassandra Ikegbune a Medical Doctor, Entrepreneur, Fashion and Lifestyle Blogger.

How did you get into fashion?
Well it was actually when I started modeling sometime in 2011.

How did you get into blogging and what else has it led to?
Well I just liked to share things, but when I started it wasn't about fashion per say, then when I started modeling I decided to make a blog to serve as an online portfolio and then it began to evolve.
It has given me a community of people who have been very supportive and has helped me become a creative entrepreneur.

How would you describe your style, any ideas how you'll like it to develop?
It's a mix of almost everything, it's not rigid.
I'll say I like androgynous styles and I'm casual with a twist.

I think I'll eventually adopt more feminine styles.

Favorite pair of shoes?
A pair of brown-ish brogues I own, sadly they are dying čś¬.

What are some of the biggest challenges you face?
Resources I guess especially steady Internet access,
then people always harass you while you're taking pictures.
Seun: *Laughs* , remember that guy that was disturbing today?
Cassie: I know right I have to deal with that a lot.

Plans from the future?
I want to become more of an entrepreneur, then be a bad ass entrepreneurial teacher like Stephanie Obi and hold workshops on blogging and style.
I want to get married and have a child/children. There's just something about having a child.
I also feel like there's a design part somewhere in me so I want to release a collaborative fashion collection even if it's just one.

I hope you enjoyed this edition of Feature Session, well love to know what you think and who else you'll like to see on an all new edition. So feel free and comment.
